06月10日上海F1美签check后被拒
背景：陆本美研数学Phd在读
面签时的问题：
签证官：what’s the name of your school?
我：the city university of New York, graduate center
签证官: For a new degree or continue study?
我：Continue my study.
签证官: Have you been US before? ()
我：Yes, actually, I just came back last night.
签证官: Who pays your tuition?
我：I have the tuition fellowship which covers the tuition and I teach math courses in Hunter college as the requirement of graduate assistantship. But living in New York is expensive, so my parents also give me financial supports.
(此时签证官对着键盘一阵输出，然后拿出粉单子，并退回护照)
签证：OK, please send those documents to this email address including the funding information. It may take a few weeks. After that , you can send you passport to 中信银行.
我: I have these documents here.
签证官： I prefer the digital one.
我：OK, thank you.
06/14发邮件补材料，06/25收到邮件被214b拒。
被拒原因可能是funding information有问题。回国前新一年的official assistantship letter系里没开出来，导致新I-20上没有这部份信息。签证官可能觉得我说的和I-20信息有不同，也有可能是我说在Hunter college教课，没有告诉签证官Hunter也属于CUNY，导致他认为我在打黑工，就拒了。
一签被拒后立刻约新的面签时间，当天约到了07/28，后面自己刷到了07/19。之后立即联系学校要新一年的assistantship letter并且更新I-20，学校OIS很给力，I-20更新很及时并且在Remark部分提供了很多详细的信息。
面签当天6点左右出酒店，步行到大使馆，前面排了大概50人。被分到23号女签证官，面签过程中只用到了护照和I-20。
护照、I-20递给签证官
签证官：OK, you are doing a PhD at the city university of New York.
我：Yes, we also call it CUNY graduate center.
签证官：Yes. OK, you are continue your study.
我：yes, I have an old visa.
签证官：Yes, I found that. You were checked for…. Wait a second.
（然后签证官仔细看了一会显示器，之后把麦关了叫来隔壁光头签证官大哥，继续对着电脑一顿输出并讨论了一阵，大概5min，然后笑着开麦）
签证官： Tell me about your research.
我：I’m major in mathematics. My research field is in geometry and topology. More specifically, it’s geometric group theory.
签证官：OK, geometric group theory.(继续一阵敲键盘）
我：I also have my study plan here.
签证官（拿出蓝单子）：I don’t need that. You are approved. Sorry for the 什么什么（最后一词没听懂）
我： Thank you. Have a nice day!
